Participant Consent, Declaration & Waiver

1. Participant Information
By participating digitally or in-person, you provide your Full Name, Mobile, Email, and Emergency Contact details to the organisers as requested during registration.
2. Voluntary Participation
I voluntarily choose to participate in Ride Ready: The First 30, an educational rider emergency preparedness programme organised by Rubbyside and its partners. Participation is voluntary and I may withdraw at any time.
3. Nature of the Programme
Ride Ready is an educational programme consisting of an Awareness Experience and a Practical First-Response Training workshop. It is not a medical certification programme, does not qualify participants as healthcare professionals, and does not replace professional medical care.
4. Medical Disclaimer
The programme is delivered using guidance reviewed by qualified medical professionals. In any real emergency I will contact emergency services immediately and seek professional medical assistance.
5. Practical Activities
The programme may include Hands-Only CPR, AED awareness, recovery position, bleeding control, helmet removal guidance and rider preparedness activities. I will participate only within my physical capability.
6. Health Declaration
I confirm that I will inform the organisers if I have any medical condition or injury that could affect my participation.
7. Personal Responsibility
I understand that I remain responsible for my own judgement during real-life emergencies and will prioritise scene safety, call emergency services and avoid actions beyond my knowledge or training.
8. Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily accept the ordinary risks associated with participating in educational demonstrations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I acknowledge that Ride Ready is an educational programme. Except where liability cannot legally be excluded, Rubbyside, its organisers, instructors, volunteers, venue partners, medical partners and sponsors are not responsible for loss or injury arising from actions taken independently by participants after the programme.
10. Photography & Media Consent
By participating in physical workshops, you consent to the use of photographs and videos taken during the event for educational, promotional and media purposes by Rubbyside, unless explicitly opting out with the organisers on-site.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
My personal information will be used only for event administration, certification, participant communication and future Ride Ready updates unless I opt out. It will not be sold to third parties.
12. Certificate Policy
I understand that the Digital Participation Certificate (for the Awareness Experience) and the Workshop Certificate (issued upon completion of the Practical Training and assessment) confirm completion of an educational programme and are not professional medical qualifications.
13. Code of Conduct
I agree to follow instructor directions, behave respectfully, avoid disruptive or unsafe behaviour and support a safe learning environment.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This declaration is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably and thereafter be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts where the organising entity is registered.
15. Participant Declaration
By accepting this digital waiver during the Rubbyside Ride Ready pledge or certification claim, I confirm that I have read and understood this document, had the opportunity to ask questions and voluntarily agree to participate under these terms.
