Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Rubbyside™ uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our platform. It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

2. Why do we use cookies?

Rubbyside currently uses cookies strictly for essential platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or invasive cross-site trackers.

  • Authentication (moto_session): This is a secure, HTTP-Only cookie that keeps you permanently logged in to your account. Without this cookie, you would have to verify your WhatsApp OTP every time you open the app.
  • Security: These cookies help us identify and prevent security risks, ensuring your account and data are protected.

3. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, Rubbyside uses your browser's Local Storage to save harmless application preferences (such as your UI state or cached data) to make the app load faster and feel like a native mobile app.

4. Your Choices

Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary to deliver the Rubbyside service (i.e., keeping you logged in), you cannot refuse them without breaking the app's functionality. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, you will not be able to log in or use authenticated features of Rubbyside.
