Acceptable Use Policy

1. Content Standards

When creating listings, participating in Club Chat, or posting photos and comments in The Paddock, you agree that you will not post content that:

• Is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, or inflammatory.
• Promotes violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
• Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights.
• Promotes illegal street racing, reckless driving, or any other illegal activity.

2. Store Reviews & Business Ratings

Rubbyside provides a directory for riders to share genuine experiences with motorcycle businesses. When writing a review or responding as a business owner, you must strictly adhere to the following rules:

• Genuine Experience Required: You may only review businesses you have actually interacted with. Fake, incentivised, or bot-generated reviews are strictly prohibited.
• No Defamation or Extortion: You may not use reviews to extort refunds or discounts. Statements made in reviews must be honest opinions or factually accurate claims. You are solely legally responsible for defamatory statements.
• No Conflict of Interest: Business owners, their employees, and direct competitors may not review their own or competing businesses.
• Respectful Discourse: Business owners responding to reviews must maintain professional conduct. Doxxing (revealing a reviewer's private information like address or full phone number) in a business response will result in immediate profile suspension.

Review Labels & Verification

To maintain transparency, Rubbyside applies specific labels to store profiles and reviews:

• Verified Buyer: The reviewer has provided definitive proof of purchase (such as a receipt, invoice, or confirmed booking) that has been manually or automatically verified by our moderation team.
• Community Listed (Stores): The business profile was created by the community for directory purposes and has not yet been claimed or authenticated by the actual business owner.
• Verified Store: The business owner has passed our identity verification process, paid the verification fee, and taken official ownership of the profile.

3. Marketplace Integrity

The Marketplace is exclusively for pre-owned motorcycle gear. You agree not to:

• List counterfeit or fake motorcycle gear (e.g., fake Arai, Shoei, AGV helmets). Counterfeit gear is dangerous and will result in an immediate permanent ban.
• List items that are not motorcycle gear (e.g., cars, electronics, non-riding clothing).
• Post spam, duplicate listings, or excessively manipulate the platform to gain visibility.

4. Route Radar & Map Integrity

The Route Radar map is a critical safety tool for the community. You agree not to:

• Submit fake or misleading hazard alerts (e.g., falsely marking an empty road as a crash site).
• Spam the map with excessive, duplicate, or irrelevant pins to clutter the interface.
• Use the heatmap to stalk, harass, or track the physical location of other users.

5. Enforcement and Absolute Moderation Rights

Rubbyside reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, review, or edit User-Generated Content (UGC). We reserve the right to:

• Remove or refuse to post any UGC for any or no reason in our sole discretion.
• Take any action with respect to any UGC that we deem necessary or appropriate, including if we believe that such UGC violates this AUP.
• Suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Rubbyside platform for any violation of this AUP.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or a user that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report the listing or contact our support team immediately. We take reports of counterfeit gear and abusive behavior extremely seriously.
